FAQ

Got a question? We've probably been asked it. If not β€” hit us up.

πŸ›οΈ Sizing & Fit

Q: How does TOMBOYFITS sizing work?
Our fits are built specifically for AFAB bodies that want a masc silhouette β€” broader shoulders, straighter waist, room through the hips. We're not men's sizing and we're not women's sizing. We're our own thing. Every product page has a size chart with both inches and centimeters β€” check it before you order.

Q: I'm between sizes. Should I size up or down?
For tops and compression: stay true to size for everyday wear; size down only if you want max compression. For bottoms: when in doubt, size up β€” our patterns already account for athletic and AFAB builds.

Q: Will your bottoms work for someone packing?
Yes. Our wide-leg jeans and select boy shorts are cut to accommodate packing. Look for the "packing-compatible" tag on product pages.

Q: Do you carry plus sizes?
We're expanding sizing every drop. Most kits run XS–3XL. If your size isn't there yet, email us β€” every request gets logged and shapes our next collection.

🩹 Compression & Safety

Q: How long can I wear your compression top?
Comfort-wise β€” most of our customers wear theirs all day without ever wanting to take it off. We re-engineered the traditional binder using a new lightweight, four-way stretch fabric and seamless bonded construction, so it's thinner, more breathable, and way more flexible than the rigid binders most people are used to. No more clock-watching just because your ribs hurt.
That said β€” we still recommend listening to your body and following general compression-wear safety guidance: take breaks when you can, don't sleep in any compression top, and remove it immediately if you ever feel pain, shortness of breath, or numbness. Comfort is one thing β€” your health is the priority, always.

Q: How is your compression top different from a traditional binder?

Three things make ours different:

Material β€” we use a new four-way stretch performance fabric instead of the stiff, multi-layer compression material most binders use. It moves with you, not against you.
Construction β€” seamless, bonded edges (no thick stitching, no rolled hems digging into your skin or shoulders).
Profile β€” thinner, lighter, more breathable. Wears flat under tees, button-downs, or jackets without adding bulk.

The result: the look you want, with comfort that actually holds up across a full day.

Q: Is your compression top safe for beginners?
Yes. Because the fabric is more flexible and the compression is even rather than crushing, it's a great entry point if you've never worn compression before. Start with shorter sessions, see how your body responds, then build up.

Q: Can I work out in your compression top?
For light to moderate activity (walking, gym, errands) β€” absolutely. The breathable, four-way stretch fabric handles movement and sweat much better than traditional binders. For high-intensity training, running, or contact sports, we still recommend a sport-specific compression piece with lighter compression.

πŸ“¦ Shipping & Discreet Packaging

Q: Is the packaging really discreet?
Always. Plain, unmarked outer packaging. The sender label reads as a generic shipping name β€” no "TCOMBOYFITS," no product info, no flags. Privacy is the default, not an upgrade.

Q: How long does shipping take?

US: 5–7 business days
Canada: 5–10 business days
UK / EU: 7–14 business days
Rest of world: 10–21 business days
You'll get tracking as soon as it ships.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Questions Before Finding Your Fit?

  • No. Our products are not created by simply making womenswear looser. They use more considered proportions, silhouettes and details based on the styling and fit needs shared by Tomboy and Masc customers.
  • Traditional menswear is usually based on traditional male waist-to-hip, thigh and chest proportions. This can create tightness in one area and excess fabric in another. Tomboyfits is designed to create a Masc appearance while working more naturally with different body proportions.
  • No item can completely change every body shape. However, our wide-leg and relaxed designs are created to reduce cling and produce straighter visual lines through the hips and thighs.
  • Choose the recommended size for the intended silhouette. Consider sizing up if you prefer additional room through the waist, hips and thighs. Check the product-specific customer references before ordering.
  • Selected tops use broader shoulders, considered arm openings and more structured fabrics that can help reduce the visibility of Binder edges. Results depend on the Binder style and your individual proportions.
  • Cotton styles prioritize breathable, soft everyday comfort. Seamless styles are designed to create fewer visible lines under closer-fitting clothing.
  • Contact us with your order information. We will review the product and help you understand the available option under our Worry-Free Sizing policy.
  • No. Tomboyfits is for anyone who prefers Tomboy, Masc, androgynous or less curve-emphasizing clothing.
